Leweston School, Sherborne

Leweston School is a prestigious, independent school for girls aged 2 ½ to 18. Set in 46 acres of beautiful Dorset parkland the school sits just three miles outside the historic town of Sherborne and some 2 and a half hours from London.

Leweston's motto, 'Gaudere et Bene Facere' - 'Rejoice and Do Well' dates from the seventeenth century, but is still wholly appropriate in this, the twenty-first century. The motto applies to pupils and staff alike and suggests not only that if something is worth doing, it is worth doing well, but also that it is worth doing in the right frame of mind; one which is positive, outgoing and cheerful.

I was approached by Picador Design Consultants to produce a 15-20 minute documentary/promotional film for the school as an extension of their website and rebranding project, with the aim of capturing a snapshot of life at Leweston. It was a fantastic project and one I am very proud of - click play and I am confident you'll agree!
