Biography
We Are Scientists are a Brooklyn-born indie rock band featuring Keith Murray (guitar and lead vocals), Chris Cain (bass guitar and backing vocals), Max Hart (keyboards) and Ada Aaronson (drums and backing vocals).

In their own words, they create "rock music of the thoughtful, sometimes epic, often loud, vaguely danceable, implicitly humanist variety". After building a small but devoted following through their epic live shows and a series of three self-released EPs, the group signed with Virgin Records. Their major-label debut, With Love and Squalor, was released in early 2006 - with their follow up album, Brain Thrust Mastery, released earlier this year (2008). The band's sense of humor is often commented upon, particularly their banter and jokes between songs at gigs and their often surreal and humorous answers to questions in interviews.

True to their word they deliver a fantastic live performance, one that I was able to capture on camera - look left!
